Hi! Welcome to my blog where I will share art through my eyes. I have such an obsession with finding old pieces and making them into modern day treasures for my home. I am always drawn to color and new challenges. In total I have refinished 12+  large pieces of furniture, painted numerous works of art, and I always have several pieces waiting in my garage. Resale shops and garage sales are my favorite! Very frequently I have people ask me for tips and tricks, so here I will compile what I know for you. 

Not only do I love furniture and working with my hands, but I love to produce water color and acrylic art. My home is currently my own personal art gallery. :) This passion stemmed into my ETSY shop, The Crazy Polka Dot, where I custom paint signs for all occasions. I love my ETSY shop, however I'm excited to have this platform to share my other projects. 

Let me start off by saying that I'm not a professional writer, painter, artist, antique enthusiast, or instructor. These are my projects, using my own expertise I've picked up over the years, and I'm sharing for the purpose to encourage others to try new projects to beautify their lives. I will start the blog with several projects I've already completed to show you my previous work, along with current projects.  I try to incorporate my family in these projects as well, so get ready for pics of two cute little 3 and 5 year old boys!

The BIGGEST tip I will share with you, no matter the project, is something my mom hammered over my head my whole life:
